Hey all,
I'm planning on running 3b intake bits on the AAN I'm putting in my 4000.
Has anyone modded the valve cover to run coil on plug type coils (vs. GM, etc.)?? I've seen folks adapt the 7a valve covers, but not totally positive on what's involved.
Welcome any/all thoughts! I have a few spare coils left from my RS4, and there looks to be some machining required to open up the hole, but any explanations/experience is appreciated!
Thanks! Once I get a few more things lined up, I'll actually update my build thread!

Not sure what valve cover you're using, but on my AANs I just installed the coils and harness then ran them as is with no issues.

I'm looking at adapting coil on plug to a 3B valve cover!
Currently the holes are too small, so just wasn't sure what all was involved, or if anyone had done it before.

on 7A, yes, many times. on 3B, nope :(

Yeah - that's what I've seen too. I'd assume it'd be something similar, but obviously looking for 1st or at least 2nd hand experience!varia wrote:on 7A, yes, many times. on 3B, nope :(
