97 c4 a6, stumble and loss of power

Hey so pulling codes shortly but figured I ask if anyone has seen this. While driving engine looses all power like I let off the throttle. Then will come back, then when o got closer to home it would rev up and then misfire slightly.. when trying to drive now will rev only to 2000 rpm then cut out then replete. Was thinking maybe dying fuel pump?

Codes it has are, p1504 for air leak, p1506 coolant temp short to ground, p0120 for tips a circuit. In the driveway it starts and idles fine, if you press the gas pedal to the floor it will race to about 2600rpm the cut out and do that again. It's bouncing. Any info?

Look for vacuum leaks and/or check that the cats are not clogged. Does it smell bad?

Problem ended up being a sticking throttle position idle switch. Thanks for input
