88 b3 90 with ng sluggish running until full throttle?

Post by Rabbitracer43 »

As the title states I have an issue with my 88 Audi 90 with the ng 20v. When cold or when moist out it has a hesitation at part throttle but clears up completely once at full throttle.. Did the obvious, replaced plugs wires cap and rotor, also coolant temp sensor. Did not replace coil yet but might since I have an almost new one in my garage.. it starts too spit and sputter but as soon as you hit full throttle it all clears up. Any other pointers would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

Unplug the oxygen sensor and see if it runs good all the time.

I'd swap the coil and pos if you have a spare, could be weak spark.

will do, I did find broken wires in the o2 sensor wireing on the sensor side. fixed those, and ordered a new one... we shall see waiting for snow and wetness to check.
