For what it's worth, it looks like it's part number 443919049AA, which was used on all sorts of typ44s, so basically anyone parting a 5000, 100, 200, or V8 should be able to provide you with that part.

I might still have the fuel tank from the 200q20v I parted 12 years ago, but I'm almost positive that it got thrown out a long long time ago. I can check over at my aunt's house, where I parted the car, this weekend to see if it's still there.

You're lucky you've got an avant, so you don't have to crawl into the trunk to do the job and you'll have more room to sit up and move around. I replaced the fuel pump on my S6 avant last night, and I was done in about an hour.

Never dove into the tanks of the big bodied cars. Hopefully its not too terrible.
