I purchased a year ago (wow time has flown) a set of 2 piece wheels made & stamped by BBS for Avantgarde. They are model RT 117- 8.5 x 18 ET 32 and were never mfgd for the US market. I had them imported from Germany. The center bore is 57.1mm and is a direct fit for the Audi B7 platform with stock brakes.
I had one shipped down to BBS in Georgia for an outer polished lip replacement. Thankfully these utilize the same polished lip as the BBS RSII. New bolts were installed as well with a total cost of $250 with shipping both ways. A price well worth the overall rareness of these wheels IMHO. BBS in the states would not sell me a replacement lip so I could 'do it myself' sorta thing. :( I'm yet to see if I can source them from thru BBS in Germany.
I did finally get my gift of an ITG foam, oil lubricated air filter from England installed at the same time as my last synthetic oil change just months ago. It's working superbly! A red loom was also installed right after the red top coils.
One other added upgrade to be installed with my front Eibach solid sway bar will be a set of Perrin spherical endlinks. The rear solid Eibach SB will not have any upgrade.
On the docket soon is a replacement front PS fender, rear bumper cover and a non-stock upgrade to be revealed later. One of those things many people want, and I'm one of them!
Also window tint from Tint Works in Boston. My ST coilovers, Goodridge SS brake lines are soon to follow. I took last summer off to concentrate my efforts elsewhere willingly. I'm very happy ATM to have my focus shifted back on my car. Here's to moving forward!

I'm by no means a know it all, but I'm blessed to have learned a lot over the years on a variety of VAG autos.
