Its really such a nice piece, too. the castings and machining are all top notch, and this is an older wagner too, looks like it could survive nuclear holocaust. And... I just double checked, its a SQ Evo mani not an RS2 evo mani! I dont even mind the extra downpipe fab now!

So I have a 7A valve cover, and I was wondering how best to deal with the PCV system. I plan to run a catch can, but how do people usually run the 7a valve cover on the AAN? Any tips would be helpful. PCV is still a bit of witchcraft to me.

There is an internal tube inside the aan valve cover that needs to be fabbed and run externally with 7a or 3b valve covers. It ties the pcv system to the intake tract.

I had noticed that one and planned on bypassing it, what about the smaller tube that vents into the valve cover? That one beguiles me...

You will need a vent from the valve cover too to vent the top side.

You could get the venting oil cap. I think it is a vw part. I made my own before I knew of such a thing.

Uro parts... Possibly the worst brand of aftermarket parts ever.

Thankfully the PN cross references to a Febi part over at Pelican Parts. Ive been satisfied with Febi in the past. $0.42 cheaper too!

Yes, much better choice I'd say! Every uro part I've ever bought has ended up in pieces, usually upon installation or a few hundred miles later!

Good to know, I ordered it because I thought I needed another breather port, I was wrong. And this hits my hood, it was an experiment.

Hey guys and gals, long time no see! Work/life balance is hard to find, as is a place to wrench for any extended period of time.

Small update, but motivation is key here! Just ordered all the hardware to get this old girl swapped over. I have the manifold studs, turbo studs, bolts, AN adapters, and miscellaneous gaskets all stockpiled. Staring at the old girl sitting in her long term storage has made me long to wrench again (the RS has her own list, but shes just been too fun to not drive!) I think at this point all that remains to source for the turbo install are a catch can, injectors (tips on a good size for ~400 hp on 93 would rule!), AN oil hose/fittings, block offs for water to the turbo, modified intake hoses, and a modified downpipe. Then a Marc Motronic tune (marctronic?), and I look forward to seeing what stock rods will do! If the tuning goes well and we can dial in the hardware, then I plan to DIY the bodywork, and suspension work gets finished. Rust repair abounds, I'm debating grafting some front flares to the rear arches, and I really have to get stiffer springs in the front. 350# is not enough for New England potholes! Any BTDTs for getting back into a turbo state of mind after a long hiatus will be greatly appreciated!

Also, especially since this is now a play car, talk me in to, or out of, going e85 on a stock block/stock rods. The stuff is few and far between around these parts, but no more than a 20 mile drive for me.
