I wanted to first, share my vehicle with you and second, update you all on the build progress.

I purchased the vehicle in November of 2012 in Rochester, New York and drove it home to Northern Michigan. It was originally built by Scott Justusson (qshipq on qw). He's been great with providing me info about the build and the car's history, he did a wonderful job.

The body has 193000 miles on it, but motor was rebuilt at 70k with new heat treated OEM Audi Longblock.

Head ported, polished and race ground by Cosworth
Carillo titanium connecting rods
Swain Race coatings ceramic coated cylinder walls, valves, combustion chambers, piston tops, piston skirts, exhaust runners
RS2 EM, IM, MAF, injectors
RS2 7200 Competition turbo with enlarged hotside and upgraded compressor wheel
911TT calipers & rotors
MTM Stage 3 3 bar tune (380bhp)
Custom hypoallergenic (catless) 3" exhaust
01E 6 speed w/ B5 RS4 knob
Fidanza lightweight flywheel
Front mount oil cooler
South Bend Stage 3 clutch

I also own a 1985 M635CSi with a Dinan Stroker (3.92L stage 3, 360hp), so the URS6 build is being built. Can't have a BMW being faster than it!

Marc Swanson of EFI Express is building the car and I am ecstatic. He has spent hours of his time on the phone with me over the past few months, helped arrange shipping and I cannot say enough great things about his customer service.

The goals of this build are for 500+ whp on E85 with as near stock spool as possible.

baseline'd the car on the dyno today as well.

next up we'll pull apart the manifold and turbo and start the install process. might take a bit as we are slammed right now but I'll keep ya posted.

Damn, Marc out of nowhere. Awesome! That baseline is not too bad, not very much boost it seems like. But it looks like a very strong place to start from! I can't wait to see the "after" graph... and especially interested on how the QSV performs on this setup. Glad you're here!

About what I expected from the dyno. Glad to see it is so low. Going to feel great with 200 more whp. I bet we can even improve on the spool. Hope the clutch can handle it. The e-brake is nonfunctional as well. Excited to see this progress!

PRY4SNO, how do you like your 7163 and the swain coatings? I know you are on a stroker, but with qsv should be close to your experience.

I haven't had the time/space to do the install. It's my winter project now that my garage is sorted and finally have the car at home.

I'm expecting full spool from 3500 all the way to 8500 (IF I go that high) on pump gas. It'll be pretty awesome to see yours with the spool valve. I didn't coat the turbo hot side on Hank's recommendation, but I figure that the coating on the header and downpipe will work wonders with heat management in the cramped coupe engine bay.

I also negated to include a few more details about the car above:

Suspension
Linear Coil Overs in Rear with 9" barrel springs in front, Bilstein Sport shocks (just replaced)

Interior:
All seats were replaced with 1992 units as they had the thickest leather.
PO also spent $2300 blacking out all exterior chrome trim with OEM euro shadowline replacements.
Restored whole interior with leatherique prestine clean and rejuvenator (40+ hours). Will see if I can find any pictures.

It's the permissions then, I'll take care of it with mods. Not allowing me to imbed photo/video still.
Here is a video of the exhaust once it was warmed up, iphone camera but better than nothing. Exhaust does not drone which was my main priority. 3" catless stainless exhaust by Lovefab with tiny magnaflow muffler.

I like the coating and I know you'll love the qsv. How many degrees is the coating good for?

From Swain's website:

"The melting point of White Lightning™ is over 3,000°F and there are applications where the coating would stay completely intact at temperatures well above temperatures that can be reached on exhaust parts. However, what can damage our coating or any coating, no matter what the “temperature rating” is would be if the base metal of there is a differential of expansion between the base metal and the coating greater than what any coating can expand."

Car is being dynoed as we speak- should be ~500whp/tq if clutch holds.

I need your guys' help with a clutch choice. I have a lightweight Fidanza flywheel and would like to keep it with my new clutch (if needed). Spec says their stage 5 will hold 485wtq which is a little low so I think I have to go for a Tilton twin disk (I would like not to have to change the clutch if I up the power).

Does anyone know what Tilton or other clutch that would hold 500+/500+ would be compatible and as street-driveable as possible?

I run a sachs 707 PP and a spec stage 3+ sprung disk. It's full face, so the disk is kind of heavy. It is totally street able. Holding 630 wheel tq at the moment, although if I miss a shift and engage it off the rev limiter it will slip so it's near the end of its range. No need to go dual disk at this level. Those are not street friendly at all!

I ordered mine through 034, but Sounthend offers the same PP and similar disks that marc gets. I'd go 6 puck sprung if I had it to do over.
