alright, now we're getting somewhere.
Seeing about 20psi peak on the dyno. This was the best run of the day which wasn't the last (more on that in a moment). 411hp/431 tq

this is up from my baseline numbers substantially so its hard to whine too much

Trouble seemed to be that *something* was causing a major dip (typically a 50hp drop) in power between 4 and 5k rpm and it was sporradic. I could definitely feel it as well during the run, power was definitely down then back up at the tail of the run. Sometimes I'd get a smooth run like this, and others I'd get the dip with no changes made. From the feel and randomness of it I'm suspecting coil issues. I tried ramping up the dwell but the coils weren't having it, totally muffed up the run when I tried to cycle them up to around 6ms peak dwell (standard AEB style coils).
I still need to pull the plugs to see if that yields any data as well. I've got lots of pictures and such from the dyno thanks to Haydn and Rob that I'll post up tomorrow.
The other thing that I'm concluding is that the turbos on my car are really too big for the 3.6. As you can see from the boost curve peak boost comes on fairly late. Some of this might be a function of the coils but from my math using the turbo calculator the numbers are similar to what I would expect. Power really drops off after 6krpm (which is where I decided to stop the runs) which isn't helping the late spooling turbos. I cant say for certain if the power drop off is partly to blame on the coils or whatever is causing my power dip but I've got some investigatin' to do.
