New Guy with 4k 20vt swap

Hello men. I'm new to the forum but not to VW's and recently Audi. I have a nice 4000cs that the trans locked itself in 2 gears. I had another trans and a low miles early 5000 turbo motor with rear inlet intake.
I have the motor and trans swapped in the car and everything hooked up except the wiring. I have the 5000 wire harness stripped down to the essentials. But this is where my knowledge falls short. I need help hooking up everything for the computer and ignition. I have the car turning over with the original 4000 wiring. I am hoping to just hook up the 20 or so wires from the 5000 harness to make it run and leave the original harness in the car for the gauges etc.

I Really need help! I have no idea where to hook up the wiring. The wires are full length and not cut and removed with care. Fully capable of making nice on the wiring install just don't know where to hook them up. I'll be glad to take pics and listen to any and all suggestions.

Haha.. Chopped because I CHOP every car and bike I ever had. Building an S1 project too. Chopped it in half for SWB. Here's a photobucket of that project.

Here's a pic of the 5000 ecu. I thought it was odd there is no vacuum reference on the ecu. What is this unit called? Mac 1?

All the MAC ecu's were made by Hitachi and had the internal MAP sensor. I'm pretty sure that thing is just the lambda control unit for normal k-jetronic + lambda. So probably all it does is control the fuel trim.

I have the rest of the harness and another box with a piggy back part on it too that all came out from under the rain tray. I need to get pics of all of it I guess.

HAhaha... The S1 is a 20v project. Just haven't had time to work on it cause everything else broke at once.

He wanted it to be 20v (<-- twenty valve sucka) actually. Taco has been bamboozled by the Audi Gods and can no longer read or type anything having to do with 10 valves without taking great pains to spell it out.
