034 trans mount alternatives

Post by lucidmatt »

Who'se got a bead on an alternative for stiff ur-S transmission mounts besides 034? The mounts I installed with magellan have already separated. :bangshead: I was hoping I was the exception to the rule, but it appears nobody is safe.

Since my car is out of commission for a while anyways, Id rather do these things while my subframe is apart. Any good alternative is appreciated, amd im sure I deserve a "told ya so"... :hide:

Get a decent used oem pair, clean them very well and fill the voids with polyurethane. I used 3m window weld.

The trans mounts for the urS cars are currently in the design phase. I am waiting for my friend to drop his urS4 off with me so I can use it to mock them up before going into the production phase.

I ask everyone for patience as I have been getting my ass chewed out for some

I have never heard of or seen anything but 034 or oe.style. another alternative would be great, although my 034 street density mounts have been great for years despite what almost everyone on here says.

You just have to get in touch with the right people. They're out there!

If I buy that avant, I will have a chance to test the 034 motor and trans mounts, Yippee! Then I can talk even more shit from real-world, personal experience.

The trans mounts aren't the problem from 034, they seem to hold up fine. It was the motor mounts that want to crap.
