The guys name was Briar Purdue. He purchased the car from a guy who lived in Phoenix but was from Ohio. He had already sold it to a guy who is selling a white 4K in Portland but I offered him his asking price and he took it. Seemed like a good guy. He never registered it in his name to keep it a one owner. It was a kind of a shitsho, which happenes to be his outlook name.
Anyways I spotted it on Bring a Trailer and had to have it. SO I got it. The rest is history.
I kind of tried to highlight the things I thought were cool or unique to what seems to be a relatively common swap. I'm sure they aren't but to me they were all original ideas
But the fun stuff is just beginning. Thanks for getting me over here. I got hooked up with the AngryTaco, we have been discussing some things and products.
Here is a question, does this forum follow the reverse ideology towards the other guys or is it a little more open and less NAZI?
That's awesome! I quite jealous of the scenery you get to run around in.

Here, we have freedom of speech. It's refreshing isn't it? If someone has a problem, they bring it up, and the other party is more than welcome to come and share their side of the story or clear things up publicly. Noone here is afraid to speak their mind. What a revelation!
Keep the updates coming. I'm working with a guy from Fairbanks right now. Seems like you guys just grin and bare the cold up there! You've got the perfect car to help deal with it

I don't think the 034 guys have much to do with the MG forum anymore. WHen I get my bushings and mounts from AngryTaco I am going to do some advertising for him. We will see if they catch it. Fall is pretty sweet in Ak, 15 deg F at sea level makes for some serious air density. Gotta watch for the ice though.
