I bought this VEMS ECU with harness, boost controller, WBO2 sensor, injectors and new coils (06A) a few months ago.
It originally came from another guy who bought it new from Lugtronic. I have not installed it either.
Decided that it is not the way I should go. I am keeping the 630cc Dekas.
So, for sale:
VEMS ECU S/N 2154
Finished harness for 1.8T
06A coils
boost controller
WBO2 sensor
RS232 to USB adapter
I have no documentation for this ECU. If you want that, contact Lugtronic.
All this stuff is NEW and UNUSED.
Price: $1400 OBO plus shipping.

is it a complete harness, or do you mean it plugs into a stock a4 harness?

A complete pre-made harness. Not PnP.

An econoseal brand new at 800$ (or whatever they sell for now). I think mark sells an off the shelf universal 4 cyl harness for 300 bucks. 4 LS2 coils are 100 bucks, and an 02 sensor is 60$
Add Marc's incredible tech support to the list, and you're at least 200$ and a tech support line too expensive.
The lugtronic PNP for a 1.8t runs 1325$ and that still leaves room for a coil upgrade.
