Mark, I am using wire.

I am up in the air with the copper. No one except Javad(and Mark?) has anything good to say about the copper, but I have the copper gasket already. I may try it and if it doesn't work well, go MLS.

I know you can pull your head in an hour or less but do you really want to? Personally i would go for the most "sure" thing.

Looking good Hank.

I've personally never had much luck with copper gaskets, and that was on a NA car.

It's been quiet around here lately without your urq posts. I know you've been busy with
other projects............keep the updates coming.

Cheers,

Craig

why use copper when oem rs2 head gasket works super in scandinavia;)? love your work man! would love to see more pictures of your gear linkage, im doing a 01e transplant in my urq too, havent decided if i should use rs2 or modified urq linkage yet, want to move my gear shifter 5cm-10cm back and make it longer and have a real short throw. ideas?

Yeah, I went down to the Lab last night to pick up my input shafts, header, turbo and down pipe and I thought for sure he was sleep walking.

I know, there is a core group up here in Utah that really represent the only reason to stay in Utah other than the looming 110F heat in Vegas :)

 What kind of trouble are you talking about Jim? He can teach you how to be late to pickup or watch the boy and you can teach him how to stock like up in Colorado? Personally, I think the two of us will be able to get in trouble together just fine and I'm looking forward to it. Heck it was just last week that I was along the side of the freeway in handcuffs along with the driver of a hotted up new mustang :o and that was just me in my car........can you imagine what it could have been with Hank and his car? Can't wait!!

No vids.....have you tried to run a camera with handcuffs on? :D Bottom line was that I embarrased a mustang cobra with a 75mph roll on, backed off side by side again since I then had his attention and waited for him to jump. It didn't take long before I heard him downshift to try in fifth at which point I downshifted to 4th and stomped it. When he couldn't pull me I think he forgot to shift in the excitement, because it sounded like he was bouncing it off the rev limiter. I really wasn't pulling him either and I'm sure much more and he would have walked away from me, but the fun ended when just over the hill we came across a Highway Patrol trooper. He immediately pulled us over, cuffed us, and told us he had clocked us at 114mph. It was in a double the ticket zone, reckless driving, and racing all in one shot. :( He asked what we thought we were doing going 114 to which I told him I wasn't and did he really think that I would take this old wore out red car and try to race something like this mustang? He smiled and said that he had a sense of humor, but that yes we were side by side as we crested the hill and that I had a fast car........what do have under the hood anyway? LOL I wasn't biting and told him just a 2.2liter no nothing motor. It turned out that he indeed did have a sense of humor, because not only did he not take us to jail, but he ended up letting us go with not so much as even a parking ticket. :o I should have called in sick and went gambling.....could have been rich at this point.

I'm pretty excited that Hank is moving back to Vegas, but mostly because his little one likes grandpa and will still listen to me unlike Hank. The three of us will be able to get into all kinds of trouble I'm sure.

Get it out of your system, I can't afford these types of shenanigans on the way to Colorado in a couple weeks.

I keep 4:11's in the Blue Pill just so I can't hit triple digits lol
