Yeah I thought about that. But I would have to elongate them all the way out to the end I think and I'd be worried about it leaking. NO issues with yours?

Wheels and tires on

05 A6 4.2 18x8 ET48 with 225/40/18 and 20mm spacer front and rear. Pre-coilovers but they are in the trunk just waiting on wheel bearings and to weld on my lower front spring mounts so I can install the coilovers.

Oh and I'm installing my nice brakes too when the coilovers are finally ready to go. :woowoo:

I like the wheel choice as well. What spring rates are you using with the coilovers? What's the eta for the engine install? When is that thing gonna run? :drive:

Thanks man I appreciate it.

450 F / 550 R

Engine is already installed it's the stock engine with an OEM spec built head with 7a cams.

I can probably have it running in a weekend if I actually put time into it. Sans the intercooler piping. Need to find someone who welds aluminum around here. Not much luck. Bleh.

I'm shooting for Oct 1st for both my cars to start up and run.

Flying across the country and they have wifi on the plane woot woot. Not much done cleaned up the valve cover cam gear on and some fittings for my fuel rail on. Tim should have my front struts all fancy for me when I get back so I can put in my coilovers. Woot woot.

Not yet but soon! I have been in the process of moving for a while now. Finally got everything unpacked and got settled in. So I actually plan to get the V8 A4 to the new place this weekend. The 200 should get towed to the new place before the new year so I can finish her up to. Anxious to get both these cars done and happy I got the new place taken care of finally.

They are going to be great just wanted to make sure they will work and they will work fine. Now going to coat them and install them on the car. Then I just need to worry about my fuel system, VEMS, and misc. small odds and ends. Very very very excited.
