I've been getting my ETKA updates from, uh, a website named after VW's version of the Cayenne
But that site seems to be down... does anyone know what's up with that site, or an alternative way to get updates?
My ETKA turned into a pumpkin a few days ago and it's driving me nuts!

Well, I think that'd be because it was stealing and distributing pirated software it looks. You could buy it
If I were you though, and i'm not. I would probably look for an area where there is a bay or gathering of pirates and possibly row my utorrentboat to go check it out
I'm also looking into a little program I found that supposedly can fool another program into thinking it's running on a different date than it actually is, but won't know if it works until I get home and try it. I actually couldn't care less about having the latest & greatest info, if only the d**m program would not stop working!

There are tons of things you can do, you can set your system clock to be different but your main problem is that you have your internet port open for listening for which the program communicates on. (Or you could just shut your internet off)

1., change back your date and time, start the program and set it back 2., install VMware, set (back) date and never close it but suspend 3., install RunAsDate and call it a day www.nirsoft.net/utils/run_as_date.html
Well, I had high hopes for RunAsDate but it doesn't seem to work! By that I mean that RunAsDate launches just fine and starts ETKA, but ETKA still says it's expired. I tried "immediate mode" on and off with the same results in both cases. Has anyone actually tried it?
I then tried changing the system clock and that did work, so I guess I have a solution although it's a PITA.
