Thanks! So the aggressive torque fall off is cams or turbo?

you can tell just by listening to it how fat that curve is. Sounds like it spools faster than my ghetto holset 20vt car and has double the power

current:
-mk4 tdi wagon with some mods
-TDI b3 90q, holset turbo, be strong little connecting rods!
-the turbo tractor
past:

-way too many other long gone urs's, 200's 4000's, b5's

THe drop off is a combo of cams and turbo. I also suspect the exhaust springs are a little soft for these pressure ratios in the exhaust manifold ( around 55psi at 30psi of boost). I think on boost they start to close the valves and now allow for complete evacuation. We have some springs being delivered today.

Yeah, the thing is nasty nasty. I want one with a dsg.

Yeah, in case anybody is wondering about how the dyno reads? In it's current configuration, we are about 4% lower than our local Mustang Dyno. Here is a low mile 7a coupe with big maf, ported throttle body, intake and exhaust along with 034's injectors. They advertise it as 144whp, but we are down ~7 percent to all the figures they publish.

Almost comical.

LOL, more power than a 7a at...idle?

I need a two car trailer for BBQ week so I can get both cars on the dyno, going to be a tough choice otherwise.

So basically, 1 cylinder 07k HTA3582r is doing 128whp/122wtq, 7a is doing 133whp/119wtq modified.

on 7a cams, my 2.2L made 530whp, 486wtq @31psi. It made 612whp at 38psi taper to 34 IIRC
