Here is the sled in all it glory!

Just in case you are wondering, that is a rhyno liner paint job. I kind of thought it was interesting, and then we opened the doors, and say that the original color of the car was Lago blue, or somthing very similar
The PO got it this way, so couldnt blame him, In general the car is in ok shape. Body is straight, engine runs pretty well, trans seems smooth, and suspension is in ok shape. I say ok, because it creeks a little, and I think I may need to replace the struts. The pass front cv shaft is completly F'ed and the Pass rear wheels brg is on its way out. The clutch master is leaking into the car, so I will have to replace that too.
On a good note, Shawn and I discovered somthing kind of interesting when we got back. This is an MC2 car! SWEET!

Like I said the engine runs pretty well, the only problems I can find are, cold starts, and an odd hessitation in "high" boost. This is still a factory MAC14 car, and between 1.1 bar and 1.2 bar, there seems to be an odd hesitation in the engine. It is noticable enough, but doesnt seem to effect driveability. Maybe its just how this engine is. I have never driven one until today.
Now on to the problem I will need a little help with.
First the speedo. While driving it just kind of bounces around. Usualy about a 10MPH bounce, and when doing 75 it was around 45-55. Shawn said he thinks its a solder joint issue. If this is correct, then I think he said he would handle that part for me. The odom doent work either. I would assume that this is because of a gear issue, similar to the B3.
Also none of the locks seem to be working, at all. When I lock it with the key, nothing happens, locking wise, but it does set the alarm. Ask me how I know
I cant even manually lock the doors. I tried, and couldnt push them down. Well, except the Driver rear door. there isnt even a lock plunger cominig out of the door panel :( Thinking it could be the controler, I looked at the relays under the dash. The panel was already out from the PO diagnosing the clutch master. Here is what I saw
If you look on the far let, you will see a relay with no case on it. 3 spaces over there is nothing, and then 2 spaces over there is nothing but a jump wire. Not only that, but there is a fuse in the relay on the bottom row. Is this normal? There are 1 or 2 conectors not conected to anything under there, but nothing like the under dash on my B3. Can anyone tell me what is supposeed to be in the spot where there is nothing, and maybe what that jumper is for? Oh... and is that fuse supposed to be there?
And then there is the hatch.

The complete rear wiper assemble was removed along with the sprayer. I know that people have done this before, but what do you use to plug the holes? The one for the wiper is quite large, and the one for the sprayer is less then half that size. Is there any specific plug type I should use?
And just for fun, here is the duo that made the 4hr trip back from VA, it was a pretty nice drive.

This will be a non project. I just want to get it to run right, drive properly, and do what it is supposed to. Any tips for a new type44 owner would be great.
but maybe check the vacuum lines for the door-locking system? I can manually lock mine even with the battery disconnected as long as there's vacuum.

As long as it works to press my bearing out/in, Im good.
The smoke wasnt there until I went to drive it to my parents place to work on it. Im wondering if starting it up a few time for people without driving it allowed oil to collect somewhere, dont know though. After it stopped, there was no more smoke for the drive.
