Thanks for the comments guys!

So with VE's in the high 90's I was able to get a good warm idle last night with a req_fuel of 4.1 but i still have a random misfire from fouled plugs and f me FR5DTC, F5DPOR and F6DTC are non stock everywhere i go locally so i will have to clean them up.

Ed, I looked over the paperwork that came with the injectors i didn't see anything regarding ramp up time? Regarding the voltage compensation are you using the simple method or have you put in the values for each voltage as supplied on the sheet?

Thanks Ed! Turned out to be the injector rampup that was causing the issues around idle... back to my calculated req_fuel now and my VE table looks "normal" only some minor acceleration enrichment and partial throttle tweaks to make

Very interested in details on your turbo inlet pipe.

Pretty simple.. it's a 4" cobra head intake with a K&N conical air filter ... i added a PCV hose using a 10AN (i think) thread to hose barb.. i drilled the fitting and inserted a wire to act as a captive in case the nut insde ever decides to backout. PCV hose is an old heater core outlet hose :)

Whelp car is now tuned pretty darn good for street gas.. planing the switch to e85 in the next few weeks and then get it on a dyno with some tuning help.

This happened yesterday ... Image

Spent a ton of time stripping, priming, painting, and clear coating these so im glad they fit ... they came awfully close to my BBS's but they clear 'sigh'

Apikol brake bracket, still working on the ebrake setup and will be designing a bracket for the ipsco calipers and have it water-jetted out.

Whelp made the switch to E85 a few weeks back! need a tuning guru or two to look over a log and lemme know how things look (4th gear run).... no hard timing changes at this point will do that on the dyno in a few weeks. I am thinking i need more acceleration enrichment or a longer period?

bet your EGTs will drop by over 150c (and you'll get about +50whp) if you add +8 degrees of timing from the 102kpa row on up. Do it now, thank me later ;)

Meant to look over this last night but I forgot. Will do in a bit! 8 degrees eh Marc? That's a lot. This is from the base map? I took a timing OUT of my tune (but I was on .63)... gonna have to have a look now.

I'm interested to see your spool on the gtx71 vs my cast 30r

to be clear, this is for E85. and yes, I generally find E85 likes to be around +8 or so vs pump gas.

That's pretty sweet. I have a 3rd gear log here so not apples to apples unfortunately but at peak torque (ish) you're getting an extra 4psi on me. I imagine that in 4th we'd be pretty well dead even as it sits. BUT, that timing increase is going to help A LOT so I would expect your spool to improve.

Fatten up fuelling from 3500-4200. It should help spool a little and give you moar torques. The cells circled in the attachment.

Thanks for the suggestions. any explanation of why i need a fatter tune under vacuum? It was really flat when tuned for 91ron however i did go back to marks suggested injector settings... maybe just getting into partial fuel cut down low? should i even be worried...

Well it should need more fuel everywhere... is it running bad? Misfire or fouling plugs? If not then that's just what it needs i guess.

And hey! Where are the vids!?

Hmm guess it just needs a bit more down low  replaced the plugs over the weekend and no signs of rich/lean or detonation. I gaped the replacements too narrow (hard starting) so i will have to address that.. other than that car runs great

Few videos when i was running 91ron

Mine? I wish they were 18's. They are 17x8 BBS RC's. I like the look of 18's more though, even on a ol type 44.

Sweet car man! I also have questions about the intake setup, as my hardware is similar (even down to the heater outlet PCV hose...). Did you ever move the oil cooler back to the driver side like you mentioned on the 1st page? Im still usimg the stock oil cooler which makes thi gs tight on that side of the bay. Can you get the headlight cover off with out removing the intake?

No my cooler is still on that side however i clears better than the stock one would due to the angle its mounted. The K&N filter i am using is oval tapered so it helps a bit with clearing the cross member from the frame to the fender. Yes i have to remove the intake to get the cover off but that only takes a minute.
