^That is so freaking cool.
Should add a 3rd key position for valet mode.

These clamps are freaking awesome. Uber high quality components, the flanges have a nice machined lip that mates to the pipe for welding. And I can't believe how much movement they allow...crazy.

Thanks - I have not had any issues, however this car does not really see any corrosion. I'll keep an eye on it.Roy wrote:Nice work! Love your car!
I also use the Vanjen clamps. I have 4 clamps on my car and 2 already broke after around 2500miles and 1 year. As you can see they get corroded and brake. Maybe you can put some grease on it to prevent it from corroding.

Swain Coating FTWEDIGREG wrote:I had a custom all white version made for my car, +10hp easily
I'm looking forward to having my Hank manifolds Swaintech coated with White Lightning due in large part (but not wholly) to Da Fridge and its exploits.mushasho wrote:Swain Coating FTW
Thanks!2.5TYPE44 wrote:You have one clean S4! (was reading your project)

Mine is holding up perfectly so far (2 years I think?). It's slightly less white than it was originally (sort of grayish-white), but still looks nice and clean.PRY4SNO wrote:I'm looking forward to having my Hank manifolds Swaintech coated with White Lightning due in large part (but not wholly) to Da Fridge and its exploits.mushasho wrote:Swain Coating FTW
After what I experienced with "ceramic coating" on my bag-o-snakes (flaking) I'm really eager to find a quality product.

Yep - still daily driving it until there is salt on the roads. Got an axle swapped in from the urs6 - no big deal there. I also had a funky electrical problem that was causing an intermittent no-start, ended up being a bad battery - caused some very weird behavior. Also the + battery cable was getting very hot due to corrosion at the end of the cable. Cut it back about 18" and spliced in new cable, stays ice cold now. It's amazing how much resistance a little corrosion causes.chaloux wrote:Ed what is going on with the car? Just driving it lots? Where are you in terms of a tune and those axles?
