Car is up and running. Took it out for a spin and there is an immediate dofference. The top end is so much better now. The torque doesnt drop off at 5200 anymore. It pulls great al the way to 6500.
However, we blew a boost line somewhere on the way back from the test run. Gotta figure that one out tomorrow

it definitely has a little more lag than the k24, but it flows the top so much better. I cant wait to see how this thing really acts after we get it dialed in.
All I will say though, is everthing went smoothly until it came time for the inlet piping routing. WHAT A BITCH. Screw CIS

I hear ya. Hank put the compressor housing in his lathe and cut it all the the way down the inlet. I shoulda had him shrink the inlet to match the other k's. that woulda helped im sure.
One thing is quite obvious.... once you install the vems, you are going to need a boost guage that tops out at 30. 25 psi in this thing is going to be a riot.
Nice work man!!!! Wish I could make it to BBQ this year to see this thing on the dyno in person. What does the seat of the pants dyno feel like as far as hp gained?
Nice work! This is one sweet 4K! You got to love the way the 20vt sounds.
Have you looked into what TPS you are going to use when you go VEMS? Im running into a problem finding one that works with the MC1 TB and the MS2 ECU.

One issue the car is having though is a weird boost loss. At random times all boost is lost and the boost gauge drops to 1BAR (0 psi). Once I let off the throttle, it immediately builds boost again upon accelerating. Its pretty random when it happens. Ben thinks its the diverter valve crapping out. I noticed after watching the video, the boost gauge starts tapering off which could indicate the valve is prematurely opening
