my very first pass of this year, first launch, i snapped the rear driver outer cv splines in the hub AND the passenger inner rear cv splines into the diff. still ran 11.09 @ 147 with both rear axles broken and noises coming from the diff.

even stranger than this, how does one break this part? i have never heard of anyone breaking this. it snapped on a 3-4th gear shift, which i do before the 1/8th mile. i coasted for ~700 feet and still ran 10.40 @ 105

What were they made of?

I've never used this company but something similar may be an upgrade from the current alloy; the question is where will the fuse move to?

mine have the same 32 spline count on each end of the shaft and is right at 19.5" for the DS rear. the PS rear is longer.

Looks like 930s are 28 splines. I'm guessing you could get what you needed for the right $$ :D

yeah i saw that page in my latest wanderings.

imma try and get another shaft, and i know Frank Rehack will make whatever i need....

but for now, i will use Janis' old axle, as i got his complete set when he got deported. he is a smart guy, sending me his when he left as he KNEW sometime i would need them :)

and this will be the 4th time that i have been saved by his forward thinking LOL
