Actually, I need to back pedal on something I said. This build is supposed to be a high horsepower daily driver and I want to keep the usable power practical. I want to build boost at a decent rpm which is why I have chosen to use the stroker crank, quick spool valve, extensive head work, and the turbo with a gamma ti impeller. It is easy to get caught up chasing after higher horsepower numbers until you realize that the higher you go, the bigger the turbo needed, and smaller the power band is. We will just have to see how fast this spools up. No need to change it if it is fun and practical to drive just to earn some bragging rights on an extra 50hp or so.

That's funny that you mention it. I had it as the third video bug I guess I loaded it the youtube brackets wrong and it didnt take it. The wife was yelling "come to bed". It will definitely go in that group.

I finally got around to putting in the passenger side Bose door card. While I was at it, I thought it would be pretty neat to try to make the rear doors to have Bose ported speaker boxes too. It would be easy to just cut in round speakers into the rear doors but what I have in mind is to try to glass in the rear panels and have them recovered to look factory. I wish Audi did this from the factory. Since I had an extra set of door cards left over from converting from the doo pocket style to the Bose, I had something to experiment and make mistakes with. Eventually, I want to get another set of front Bose grilles to blend into the rear door cards to make them look factory.

The tinkering with my addiction has come to an end for a good while now. My car won't be in the garage to play with now. My face has broken out like a thirteen year old boy. My car was loaded up on a car hauler and left my house. I was stressed out seeing my car leave. It didn't make me comfortable that that driver didn't speak much English either. I am praying my car makes it alright. It has to make a stop in Phoenix, AZ. Then it is getting hauled to Los Angeles. After leaving California, it is on it way to Iroz Motorsport in Las Vegas where all of this hard work, money, and planning will take shape and the car will come alive. It is promised to be there by Friday at the latest. I haven't driven the car in five years and it has been in the garage for every bit of it. I am nervous but it is a good thing and it only means the project is moving closer to boosting down the road. I can't wait to drive it.

Josh's head is one of the few AAN based heads that can give an 07k head a run for it's money... Stock that is :)
