Yeah, that picture gets posted everytime someone asks about turbo'ing their 944 NA. There's even a few things missing that are different from the 951's to 944's.
Under the intake is pretty much the only place they could fit the turbo in the engine bay, it's more than cramped! The turbo mounts to the driver's side engine mount and the oil drains to the crank through it along with some venting from the AOS (air-oil separater).
Transaxle is an 016, and the 968 6spd is an 01E
Other random interesting facts about the 951 engine:
-Exhaust valves are sodium filled
-The cylinder head is cast with ceramic liners in the exhaust ports
-Exhaust manifolds are Inconel
-Turbo Cup cars had magnesium intake manifolds and wheels
