The "best" was its predecessor. It has the most Group B wins of any car, after all.

(Plus it was RWD and didn't have a turbo, two things that automatically make something better!)

With all due respect.......bolllocks !!.................. :D

The technology that was packed into the S4 , IMO was legendary.......

I love all groupe b cars period, but from a purpose built no hold bar build spec stand point,
the Lancia S4 has them all beat.........and I'm a audi guy :D

Well, except the turbo part. :)

That car looks tricky to drive, and the old man did a pretty good job. He is just as much fun to watch now as he was back in the day.

What technology? Everything in the S4 was old hat by the 80s, and it looked like the RS200 would have destroyed it if Ford hadn't pulled out because Ford bothered to build a sturdy chassis instead of a noodly one...

The Lancia was a not really a car anymore... it was a purposely build rally car...
