No, but it does have ports on each cyl. for nitrous or meth (probably nitrous to spool this thing).

Nice dude. I'm also going to have to lengthen the oil return and coolant return lines. Easy with AN fittings tho :)

Be advised that the wastegate has 2 big springs for a total of 26 psi spring pressure... You may wanna take one out for a pump tune.

holy crap lol, I was going to ask you about, that but forgot. For now, it doesn't matter since the pressure pipes aren't hooked up yet (and won't be for a while). I have no idea how I'm going to route that upper pipe now with the wg in the way. I'll figure something out though.

I did manage to get myself a -10 line that works. I just need to trim it and fit it up in the morning when there is more light.

Now you need a stiffer spring on the PSF corner due to the weight of that monster turbo.

Gonna be bad ass, get it going for all to see.

Wow Chris, that looks like it's gonna tear the rubber off those wheels! When that turbo finally spools, you're gonna need a seriously reinforced filter to keep it from being gobbled up by the inducer! Nice work! That manifold and DP setup are works of art!

Wow. Dat turbo... going to suck in some birds flying around, better check the skies before you go WOT.

What does it compare to size wise?

I love all of these comments, thanks guys!

The turbo is comparable to a 42r in terms of flow rate. The comp inducer is a little smaller than a 42, but the exducer is considerably larger. Not sure how the turbine wheels compare, but the exducer on the turbine of this one is 71 or 72 I think. Should perform very similarly to a 42r.

Can anyone compare these to stock ones? I'm thinking the "piston" part is the part that got shortened. I think this makes my suspension travel even worse  Please confirm or deny my suspicion. If this is confirmed, I am going to contact bilstein and ask for a refund. If they deny me a refund, I will just have to tell them I will never buy Bilstein again and will steer everyone I know away from them...

I haven't dealt with shortened struts, but I'm assuming that you are shortening them in order to run a low ride height without bottoming out the strut. Correct?
Shortening the housing will not achieve that, it will actually make it worse as the shaft will bottom sooner. Now if they shortened the shaft, that would have the desired effect (with a standard housing), as it wouldn't bottom as soon.
Measure the shaft length. (yeah, yeah, yeah, "That's what she said." )

Just my thoughts on this...

lol, I did measure the shaft length on the fully decompressed strut; its on the previous page (maybe two pages back) with the other strut pictures). It comes in at a pretty respectable 8".

The idea would be to shorten the housing AND the shaft such that a shorter strut housing could be used and thus the car would be lower with similar travel as before. That means I could raise the coils to their highest setting and the car would be lower than it was before (1.5" lower), yet still retain the same amount of travel. I don't think shortening the shaft would really do anything in the situation I'm in. I guess I see how it would prevent the actual strut from bottoming out, but that doesn't really help me as there are other physical limits put on the system than shaft bottoming out (my top hats hit the strut housing). That is why we wanted to shorten the strut housing which means shorter strut body as well.

I appreciate the input Mark. I still don't know if I'm understanding this all perfectly or not, so correct me if I'm wrong!

In other news, I've finally come to the point where I am ready to crank it. I'm pretty nervous as I've never had an engine and tranny apart and out of the car entirely by myself. Plenty of helping with this kind of thing for other people's projects though. For now I'm taking a break because my uncle is coming over with his new Boss 302. I'll be sure to get pics and vidz :D

After that, I guess I just need to do a big once-over and then get ready to crank. I would like to know if anyone has any suggestions for making sure everything has oil all in it and such since the engine has been sitting for about 4 months. Normally this is not a problem on newly built engines because of assembly lube, but this one never got disassembled/assembled internally.

Unplug the injectors and crank her over for a while to get oil nicely circulated. I do this any time my car sits for more than a few weeks without starting. Then plug them back in and fire her up :vids: :vids: :vids:
