The easiest way for me to move forward is to get the thing in there and take measurements in relationship to the stock 3b manifold, or the head. Can you send those to me?

Damn that's a nice car man! Love it.

Absolutely, that's the plan. I sent you some pics with the previous manifold on too - still have those? With the new rad dims and mounting, it should be pretty straight forward. The rad will be here today and I'll throw it in to get a feel for what we have to work with. Hopefully I can have it mounted this weekend (some chopping and welding expected).
Thanks for the kind words! It's a little dream come (ing) true to have this car. Kind of sad that one of my dreams involves a 1991 Audi land yacht...

Re: Casey's 200 20v: Parts on order :) Done for Carlisle?
Received the radiator yesterday and some other pieces, but I'm VERY happy with how it fits! Only problem is that the inlet/outlet are too big... Turns out its 22" overall, but even with the smaller core than expected, I'm still 526in^3 cooling volume versus the stock radiator which is 525in^3. Take a look! I think it's going to fit well! I'll be modifying the stock fan and shroud to fit. Hank - I'll get some measurements later today after work!

Plenty of space for the intake

Stock shroud fits nicely

Re: Casey's 200 20v: Gonna be busy...
BOOYA!!!!
Huge progress in the way of getting the pieces together. I managed to get my old garage space back for a month and I now have the following on the way:
-VEMS plug n' play with LCD screen
-840cc Siemens injectors
-Spark plugs FR5DTC
-Distributor block off plate
-HKS Super Flow 4" inlet filter
-034 Turbo oil lines
-Intake manifold
-044 fuel pump
-EGT probe and wideband O2
-034 Street density motormounts
-Intake pluming with couplers and T-bolts
-Bilstein gland nuts for front struts
-Helper springs, couplers, and thrust bearings for the coilovers
All I have left to order up is exhaust supplies and tires (and all the little stuff that will add up to $1.0M)
SO PUMPED!!!

Going to use the hall sender, just going to cap off the dizzy without the cap and rotor.

Re: Casey's 200 20v: Gonna be busy...
Over the past 3 evenings, I've been putting in 2-3 hours a night after work and I've succeeded in fabbing the cross member and in mounting the IC. This thing is going to have the shortest intake tract EVER ahaha!
Here are some pics!
Cross member

Snub mount - this is upside down since I was about to finish welding it, so you're looking at it from the motor side/underneath

3rd mounting point up top

Et, voila!

Re: Casey's 200 20v: Catch can and coils
A little more accomplished this week. Mounted the catch can where it would stay cool and be easy to drain. I'll be piping the filter further back and more under the car to get those oil fumes/vapors out of the engine bay. Also made some brackets to hold the coils via the strut tower brace. I still have some finishing to do with the cross member in terms of cutting away excess material and prepping for paint etc.
Catch can - sitting where my AC compressor used to live.... Might end up moving it someday when I get the ambition to get the AC working again

Coil brackets - Old pipe and flat stock

That looks sweet, but take about 10 bucks and grab some stainless bolts for your valve cover.....

Good call - I've been getting new hardware as I go for the cross member, and now the coil brackets and catch can. The valve cover will look really good thanks for the suggestion!

Re: Casey's 200 20v: Catch can and coils
The valve cover looks great. I have a pearl 200 20v as well.... I picked up some wrinkle red powder coat, as soon as I get the big oven done, I think I am gonna do mine red too, with stainless hardware as well....
Re: Casey's 200 20v: Catch can and coils
Couldn't find the right stainless hardware for the valve cover at the hardware store, so I'll have to check elsewhere. I did find some good stainless button head allen screws though to finish off my coil bracket - VERY pleased with how it turned out! Just needs some paint.
