but i did a lot of work to the car in the mean time.

got a new hotside housing up to 1.10 from 1.00 still T4 divided. then i hand port/polished it up cuz i wasnt impressed with the openings. and have been informed by some other drag race buds that the S366 with 1.10 hotside without cleaning it up is good for >850 whp. so playin with it cant hurt it thats for sure.

got a new pair of discs for the dogbox i ordered. Sintered Iron, for the twin disc setup.

got a set of 993 4 piston brakes for cheapish (i felt anyways) but i dunno if i gonna put them on anything.

had the head blueprinted and valve springs shimmed to correct (plus some ) installed height.

put a new throttle body on it. broke the shaft on the BBK/Roush one @ Wuste playin 2-step wars with the 034 camp LOL.

Woah!!! The best part of that video is at the :55 mark when you stop the compressor with your finger. That is a seriously high flowing hotside to have an almost stalled compressor at idle!!!!

Nice Aaron!! What time you going to the track on Friday? I may have to try and get by there to see these new upgrades in action. BIG turbo!!! I see the fireball out the side is still a crowd pleaser. As cool as it looks on video and as loud as it is, it's not the same as being there in person. I'm hear to tell you guys that fire show is LOUD! Maybe take the car out to the street tomorrow for July 4th fireworks.

John, the track opens around 4pm. i will be there early. i am getting it as prepped as i can now....

and yes we do want to see you before we leave this little Villa of yours.... i gotta drop off a part for Hank (unless it gets "lost" in that garage).... adjustable cam timing gear.

i am still fighting the HOA on parking believe it or not. they just now, after two months of it being fine, came back and said i have to lose a car. two licensed drivers, and three cars is not allowed. they say i cant have my truck here. so i will put the racecar in the trailer tomorrow, and then show them that i have only two cars. and since the truck dont fit in the garage, they HAVE to let me park it out here. well, not REALLY. but it helps. but that was their rules, if the vehicle doesnt physically fit into the garage they let it stay.

and my neighbor has two houses on my little culdesac, and he said its cool to put the truck in the driveway of the unoccupied one, at least til the 11th when it closes (he selling it).

what a pain in the butthole..... these HOA's suck.

There has been a lot going on in the garage lately and it really looks like we blew up my garage instead of The Lab! I'm pretty sure small parts like a cam gear would get lost......right behind the timing belt cover on the new motor.


Now you know why I don't live in an HOA. You always have some retired police officer or one that wanted to be but couldn't get accepted, thinking that it's his duty in life to patrol the neighborhood and make sure weeds are the right height, the house is the right color, the garbage cans aren't on the street early, the cars are in the garage, the sprinklers aren't on for too long, etc, etc etc........AND they want to charge you a fee for putting up with that crap. I'd be sideways with them before the moving truck was unloaded. :x

you need to get a copy of the CCR's and see what is says about # of vehicles. that sounds like BS to me.

wow, you got almost all of them.

the neighbor had to repaint the trim on his 2 houses. and he ran out of the "right" color. so he got another close color. and he did his whole house so that the trim was all uniform. and they fined him for it not matching every other house.

garbage cans. twice weekly, and they cant remain out for 24 hrs, prior to or trailing the pickup time.

cars.

they have a crew come and do the weeds. this actually worked in my favor last week, cuz i flipped the guy a 20-spot and he did the whole backyard. i didnt want to do it before i left and it was gettin kinda bad.

they charge the owner of the house, not me. thaey also fine him if there is an issue, not me.

HOA sucks.

and you know, if Hank sees this conversation, (which he will) he will know where to look for the gear

The DMV has actually started a program this year, to drum up some revenues I'm sure, which involves reporting cars that have been in the state for awhile, but still have out of state tags on. The pitch is that these people are costing others tax money and driving insurance up. Makes me want to buy a small place out of state just so I can have Scotland....I mean out of state plates.

By the time he gets a chance to look for it, that gear will be spinning so fast that it will look as if it is spinning backwards and he will think that it's junk. Probably won't even want it anymore.
