i was not home for even ten hours when i was at my friends house to pick up the trailer and car. thats how bad i wanted to be home. we got in to our house ~1AM sunday morning, and i was there to pick up @ 10:30.
and even then, i had to go start a project less than 30 hrs from landing, that i knew nothing about. no rest for the wicked i guess.
but the car, yeah it has sat. nothing has been done except brainstorming on my part. not like i am in any hurry really. i never get to make the openers, nor do i make hardly any of the T-n-T's.
but i have been doin stuff. ordered the new ID-1600 injectors. why? i dunno, she (the car) needed some money thrown at her. they will be better... that was one of the next steps, the ID2200's. but this new release has made it simpler for my choice. not so much overkill.
also, i bought a new firesuit. yeah yeah, my other one isnt hardly used. but its a pain in the ass, a 1 pc suit. it'll be easier.
and this AM, i was bored. so i refloored the trailer. it is a new trailer, but i was unhappy with the flooring. it is 3/4", single layer. but the seams and joints had some mushy feel to them. especially at the top of the ramp. i plated over with another layer of 1/2", and turned the ply the opposite way. covered all seams, different stagger. much more solid feel to it now.
Chub and Red had some to do with it. she was my second pair of hands and he just played construction worker. he just couldnt wait to get out there and wear my hardhat....

and i dunno, but he looks like a co-worker of mine... LOL. crashed out at his post.
