I see. I know that older cars without stand alone efi run shitty at idle when hopped up but just figured that with new fuel air control that wasn't an issue. I guess I got alot of learning to do about these things. By the way you car is definetely an inspiration.

Is it possible to control two different sets of injectors with a stand alone system? I know this would be budget limiting and sorry for the nube question but I would think you could get a second set to kick in for extra fuel and still be able to meter fuel acurately at low levels with the first set.

yes as long as you have enough drivers in your ecu like a IIC can run 4 coil and 8 injectors because it has 12 drivers. the 5 cylinder is tricky you can run 5 ignition coils and your left with 7 for fuel so you could run 5 independent then put two on one driver and three on another they would be batch instead of sequential. And you have to watch the injector independence's on the drivers with multiple injectors so not to burn up a driver

but the 1600cc injectors dont like to run under 1.7ms....

thus why i am already contemplating the ID 2200's. they have better controlability down low. its inherent in the Bosch injector that it is harder to control down low. in everything, there is give and take. so they give up some low down, but take things higher up top? make sense? this is, also, how i understand it to be. some cars are different than others, too. but idle is not a sacrifice i want to make.... thus injectors @ $235 apiece are in my sights.

the FWD VW Corrado they run, 934 WHP and 8.9X 1/4 mile, runs two rails with 1600cc injectors in each rail, on Methanol.

Im was thinking about those but 235$ a pop set me back instead went with 1600cc ones

Huh, how would the batch injectors work out to add additional fuel at high power levels? Accurate enough?

well, goals were all met.

show some restraint, and do not get BUCK WILD!!!!

made 615 AWHP and 439 AWTQ on low boost @ 30 psi in 3rd gear. we called it, as we had a specific set thing we were going to run tonight and we did it. funny, Kevin says on the second to last run; "we are at that point. wanna run 550 AWHP and sleep well tonight?" my reply was "lets do the 30 psi pull, and call it good."...... and >600 we went.

the last vid is my favorite.... its gonna be something else to drive i am certain. notice fireball shift? and the 4th gear cut fireballs under the car....

Awesome! Now that's the power at the boost level i was expecting all along! So what made the big difference?

Good work, Aaron. You are making me rethink my decision for the biggest possible core on the ATW setup. Any information about IAT numbers across the runs?

Nice work man, you didn't notice but every time you brought some thing I thought, "I'm glad my car not done and I'm not dealing with that."

Well it goes both way I guess because seeing this makes me crazy and want to finish my car
