picked up motor... and was going to have it installed tonight.

BUT: in my infinite haste, i forgot one key item to install. the pilot bearing. and i am going onto long shifts here, so not real time to work on it. :(

but its ok. i will have it in and running by sunday night anyways... LOL

Looks good Aaron!! If it runs half as good as it looks you will be in business. At least it isn't pink. :-D Are you planning on having it running before you head down this way? Vegas has a nice strip. Come summer they usually run what they call midnight madness, where anyone can bring anything and run on Friday nights. I'm not sure when that happens, but could maybe find out. Seems to me that you need to try out your new enclosed trailer and as long as you're making the trip anyhow........well I'm sure you can fill in the rest!!

ok, all, pink was that builders choice, and i didnt care. and yes, muscle cars hate getting beat by an import with a pink 4cyl. so did the E63 AMG, twice :)

i dont care what color....

but John, i had actually planned to bring the car down with me next time i come to Vegas. i looked into the schedule for your track and it did not mesh with what time i may have off while there. and the fact that i am towing a trailer of work stuff now as well :(

oh well.... i have the enclosed for a reason, that reason is roadtrips :)

and all, sunday aint happenin. i have to work then too. its 1:20 commute, 13 hr shift, 1:20 commute. i want to get this motor in at least, Joey left me the parts outside the shop so i am on my way (stupid pilot bearings anyhow hahaha).

so, on that note, i gots me some work to do. i gotta get up @ 4AM. leave home no later than 4:45AM and get back home ~7:45PM or so. but the $$$ is what matters :)

i told my project manager i didnt need to come tomorrow, he laughed. i said i gotta motor to install. his reply was do it mid-May.... bastard. i even said that to him :) told him i do it tonight anyways :)

and this schedule is all week long. $$$$ CHA-CHING!!!!

Money is good. Even though it might mean less progress right now, it means more progress in the long run ;)
