No the gasket failed from the inside out. Aaron did you even have water in the cylinder when you took it apart?
I believe in a earlier post he said he had coolant in #4 or #1. Don't remember. But that would make since because it is passable that the pressure from the bad cylinder was enough to push coolant into the others.

my sponsor will assemble the gearbox when i do get the parts....
and i am really looking forward to doing this. i feel i may have some better luck than Janis the Latvian MadMan (
) in keeping the trans alive as i am about 600+ pounds lighter, but its something needing done.
i will be spending some time with calculators and such, to determine MY BEST GEARSET when i do this. i will focus on the 24.5" tires i have and also make it work for 26" tires that i will probably eventually step up to.
also up is some clutch modding (hydraulic line stuff) and it seems some axle work too.
if i can get the big motor all together, i may just start out with it. its getting expensive blowing motors up, and those two full motors in 5 week span hurt me.

so, just updating this a little.
i took the first melted head to the shop to see about repair. so that is in the works. that is the ported AWP head, made 592 AWHP with 4 broken wrist pins. so that one will be going back in shortly.
in that, i will toss in the +1mm intake valves i have laying around, as well as all the rest of the good stuff; inconel ex valves, springs, retainers, new guides, etc.
so thats all, just saying to you's guys i am tired of taking time off. so i will be back to it. but not hard like before.
i am going to be doing the PAR dog-box, also....
parts coming are new radiator, working on some clutch flow control, and headbolts/studs. not gonna reuse after two separate head-lift incidents these Raceware studs....
