GTG at your new pad? ;0
looks sweet, congrats

Yup new pad but not the one that was on my facebook. We pulled out of that house last Sunday. We did a lot of soul searching and 3000 sqft was nice and the view was amazing we decided we needed more land an that we were compromising. The house we are looking at now is on an acre so there is room to build a shop. Fingers crossed this one will be ours by end of december and I will spill the beans on it then... Its even nicer than that other one. I also was not a big fan of the solid slab foundation on that house.

I was also thrown off by the 6.9 badge. LOL.
Ben, you can always fly into sacramento and i could pick you up at the airport on my way to the raceway. I will literally be driving right by it on the way there. Then i could drop you off on the way home too.
Mike, that sounds like it was the right move.

Just a couple small updates...

This weekend I finally added coolant, made 2 spare FW trigger keys (in case the stock Fidanza one causes issues) and worked on diagnosing why the coolant temp gauge isn't working. Over the past couple weeks I found time to fix a couple other odds and ends...

I fixed the front suspension issue I was having... I now can actually fit my fingers between the tire and the fender (no rolling required as of yet)...

Image

I am prepared to take some heat for my temporary solution. I put a 1/2 inch spacer between the tower and the strut mount, then modified the stock cups. Again... temporary till I can justify going adjustable.

Image

This is how it sits now...

Image

I also installed some 5kqt mud-flaps for the rear. I haven't found good ones for the front yet...

Image

And lastly... token engine bay shot

well, sometimes temp solutions are needed. I know all about that

I think the car looks a lot better with a more level stance. Some cars look good with a little stink bug to the stance, but not 4k's.

Thanks guys. :)

SO small update: Over the past week I have been taking care of more of the 'small' items. I worked out a gauge pod solution for boost and a Vems gauge, figured out my AWIC coolant lines, re-assembled the gauge cluster, cleaned out the interior, fixed all the power windows and refit the door panels, fixed door locks, made a small wire harness cover for the back of the engine, reinforced the rear brake adapters, made some fender hole covers (where the tie rod comes through) which I am going to remake later because they turned out poopy and lastly waxed up all the battle ship grey paint. Currently I am about 2.5 weeks away from ordering the VEMS stuff and whatever else I need.... the car is very very close.... I can't wait! :D

I used some front 200 mud flaps on front and rear that work well.

Slight update...

VEMS is ordered and on the way, along with my FPR and the rest of my needed AN fittings. Looks like I should be running inside the next two weeks. :D

I'm doing lots of this...

Image

Oh and a few weeks ago, I installed my boost and misc (Im not sure what to put there yet) gauge. Especially now that Vems has an Android app that is most amazing.

Yea, but can you really count that 100k of the 90q 20vt is smoking the tires? Or maybe it should count double. :D
