Thanks man!!!

So this weekend's update is pretty good, I bled the clutch, fixed my shift rod (YET AGAIN!), reinstalled and cleaned the back seat and front passenger seat, modified and installed my AAN valve cover, worked out how I'm going to run the electric water pump and tore into the wiring harness. I did LOTS AND LOTS of wiring this weekend on it, integrating the URS4 harness has been somewhat of a challenge because of all the extra stuff it has that I don't need. So I figure at this point I am 75% done with the wiring. :)

PICS!

HAHA I wish!!! I actually can't run a QSV with this turbo. If I was running a turbo with a t3 split on the hot side and a t3 non-split on the manifold side I could. I am saving the QSV stuff for my next build on this car.

@ my2000apb - Ya, kind-of, we had a random box of these things laying around in the shop. I needed to figure out how to keep the cable from rubbing the IM. So I am temporarily using at least the one closest to the tb. I may keep the other one.

SO I need some help guys, I am stumped on this one... for some reason my Harmonic balancer is hitting the oil pump and timing belt cover when I tighten down the crank pulley bolt, and for the life of me I cannot figure out why... bear in mind this is the original Serp-pulley/balancer that came with this engine, so I can't figure out what I am missing. :( Please give me any ideas or thoughts you have about his issue, I need to figure this out asap. :)

Ok, so I figured it out with help from Marc. I was informed I may have the balancer that requires the washer that goes between the balencer and the cog. Turns out, I do. I found the $100 washer in my parts bag, installed it and now am back in business!!! :) I am so glad I took a few minutes, cleared my mind, got help and ate. Progress is now resuming.

At least it was only 1/2 the day and you didn't have to spend another $100 and wait for the part...

SOOOO TRUE! More than likely I would have bought the washer, installed it and in a week found the old one. Now that would have been a bummer! :) I'm just glad I have been such a pack rat with my Audi parts.

Yes he does......BBQ in October. :-) That, of course is a few weeks after initial startup! He will be traveling a couple thousand miles with it so will need to have some of the bugs worked out beforehand. Good progress!!
