SOLD! Bosch WBO2 Sensor, NEW.

I had this as a back up but never needed it. I'd like to get $45 shipped for it.

I wrote "calibrate" on the box so I would remember to do that whenever I changed it out.

FID 1200cc ev14 NEW fuel injectors - Set of 5

The injectors come with adapter hats to fit in the AAN stock height fuel rail. I bought them through Chris(loxxrider) when I planned to go bigger. I decided to just go big. I have since sold the car. The injectors are still in the packaging in which I received them.

I'd like to get $400 shipped for ...

Strange return to idle issue

Hey guys,

Long time no post for me. My car has been running great but has recently developed a strange issue when returning to idle. When the engine is at 2000 + rpm's and I let off the throttle, the rpm's drop normally but when hitting ~1000 rpm's the engine revs on it's own and bounces around ...

Re: Dace's '94 //s4 - Now For Sale!

Wow. It's been a long time since I've posted! My car has been in limbo for quite some time while I sorted my bottom end issues. Well, they're sorted now. I finally got a new bottom end in, one that doesn't chug oil. Turns out the old motor had pistons that were too small for the bore and oil rings ...

Re: VEMS dirty 1.8t IAT sensor symptoms

Oil on those type of filters will cause the kind of thing you're talking about. It happens over time, more so when the filter is over oiled. I stopped running oiled filters on my vehicles because of this kind of thing.

Re: Fueling table viable year round?

48-50 IAT doesn't sound high to me for 25c ambient if you're in traffic, especially stop and go. Others may disagree, but my temps go up driving around in the city during the summer. When cruising, they go down to 20-30c. I've been using the supplied curve with the firmware for the 1.8t sensor.

Re: Fueling table viable year round?

Here is what I'm running. There's a bit more swing in the table than previously mentioned. It's been a while since I've looked at that table. My car is in limbo waiting for an oil comsumption issue to be resolved so I don't drive it much at all. :/ Anyway, the -40°, +80° and 100° cells are guessing ...

Re: Fueling table viable year round?

When I started using the MAT/TPS table, I tuned the VE table when the intake temps were 20C +/- 2C. Then I used the 20C column in the MAT/TPS table as my baseline or 100%. Then I went up and down from there. What I noticed is that it didn't take much at all of a percentage change to make a ...

Re: VEMS injector settings Siemens 630cc

I didn't mess with them too much. Mostly the voltage cells that the car most commonly operates in. Even then, I didn't move the values more than maybe +/- 100us. It's been a long time since I messed with them. The traditional settings work pretty well, but I found I was able to get better results in ...

Re: VEMS knock control on AAN

From what I've read and heard, knock in VEMS isn't very dependable, at least with the 5 cyl. There's a poster on the vemssupport forum who has gotten it to work out, at least in logs. Maybe Marc will have something to say about this.

You can try this though:

Naw. It's distributorless. Sorry for the obscurness of the video point of view. I'm going to tear into this thing as soon as I can. I'm just fishing for some insight into places to look first. Chasing sounds like this always seem to be coming from the least obvious place or the furthest point from ...

Can anyone tell what this sound is?

Hey Guys,

This lovely screeching sound just started up the other day. The car as been in storage all winter, but has been run every 3 weeks since storage 5 months ago. I've driven it twice since since bringing it out. I've stopped driving it in light of the noise. Really, I don't drive the car very ...

Maybe I missed this in an earlier post, but what to plan to do with gearing? Will you have a lower range for some climbing?
