Paint that intake the same as the valve cover once you get done.

Re: Audi S4000 - Alaska

Yeah the black is Cerakote and the silver is powdercoat.

You nailed it, it looks rad and keeps the temps in the bay down.

Re: Audi S4000 - Alaska

A lot has happened since the last post. The white 4K is gone. I couldn't handle 2 projects at once. Having 1 car allowed me to focus on making the sickest 4K I could. Here are a bunch of pics of some of what I've done....

Wagner Intake into 4000 with 01E

Hey guys, I recently installed an 01E amongst a whole slew of other things, I've been out of the forum game for a while.

I decided to tackle the installation of the Wagner intake manifold on my AAN'd 4000Q. Needless to say I've had to modify some things.

1. Added an extension to the inlet so that ...

Re: Audi S4000 - Alaska

So I took this summer to actually enjoy driving my two 4K's around Anchorage. It's been a couple years of projects with lots of scope creep so I decided to release the reigns and actually rally these beasts around.

The black car is rock solid, insanely fun with absolutely no issues. This car could ...

Re: So what genre of music do you guys wrech/fab to?

I'm pretty strange, but I actually can't really listen to music when I am in true project mode. If its something like a break job or other easy no-brainer I listen to whatever..anything from metal to old blues to 90's rap..but when I am working on something that I want to come out well, I need to ...

So what genre of music do you guys wrech/fab to?

In general I make playlists of entire albums. Sometimes it's albums I haven't listened to in a long time or its new albums I've never listened to. Sometimes it's both.

As you can see below, the genre's all have a "progressive" element to them.

I find that having music doesn't hurt my flow. There ...

Right on, I have a GTX3071 with an N75H and get some boost spikage with high load.

I am going to try a J

I have read that and I have read the exact opposite.

Was curious if anybody has tried doing a comparison on a chipped Motronic

N75H/N75J discussion

Has anybody ever done comparisons between these 2 valves on a bigger turbo/chip tuned AAN?

I guess the N75H (race valve as 034 calls it) is stock for the AAN while the N75J is stock on the 3B.

I have also read that in some circumstances people have swapped to the N75J to deal with boost onset ...

Re: Still have bucking 92 UrS4

Rich misfires and plugs don't cause violent bucks. Fuel cuts (whether from over boost or otherwise) do. Also, rich misfires and small ignition problems are typically higher frequency events and very repeatable under the conditions in which they occur.

Of course, one person's definition of violent ...

I need the weakest piece of plastic ever made that covers the AC/Fresh air duct under the hood.

It can be cracked, just no pieces missing.

Boost leak causing you to go rich under load leading to misfire.

Would be surprised if it was a coil.

Spark plugs are a good thing to look at.
