Re: Matt's 2007 RS4
Another update... I bought some KW H.A.S. springs last april (!) But never got around to installing them because I just had too much fun driving... Figured last weekend I'd finally get around to installing the hoard of parts I had built up for an overdue suspension refresh. got the control arms off ...

Hey guys and gals, long time no see! Work/life balance is hard to find, as is a place to wrench for any extended period of time.
Small update, but motivation is key here! Just ordered all the hardware to get this old girl swapped over. I have the manifold studs, turbo studs, bolts, AN adapters, and ...

Re: Justin's B7 RS4 - needs a new heart!
Honestly, these cars are really complex but well thought out. Aside from the carbon issues, the motors are stout, and barring any harness issues, the electronics do all make sense and the more advanced communication with VAGCom makes life livable. Mechanically, I've found it to be traditional Audi ...

Thankfully the PN cross references to a Febi part over at Pelican Parts. Ive been satisfied with Febi in the past. $0.42 cheaper too!

I had noticed that one and planned on bypassing it, what about the smaller tube that vents into the valve cover? That one beguiles me...

So I have a 7A valve cover, and I was wondering how best to deal with the PCV system. I plan to run a catch can, but how do people usually run the 7a valve cover on the AAN? Any tips would be helpful. PCV is still a bit of witchcraft to me.

Re: Mike's 200 20v avant
Awesome seeing you at Carlisle and the 200 looks awesome! Glad its been reliable, and the S4 seats look great, theyre literally the most comfortable seats Audi makes. I even prefer them to the RS4 seats, mostly because the RS4 seats dont drop as low to the floorpan as the C4 S4 seats do, which is ...

Carlisle was as fun as it was soggy. Everythings hanging out to air dry today! Thanks to everyone who pitched in and lent a hand with the exhaust install. I realized I ...

Re: 1.9 TDI into 90q: The mad dash for Carlisle
Awesome to meet and cruise with you guys! That TDI was one of my, if not my absolute, favorite cars at Carlisle. Also for the MPG check-in, I averaged 21 even after all the shenanigans. I couldnt believe how evenly matched our three cars are, Shawn's car is absolutely killer once that boost hits!

How long did the car sit before checking under the oil cap and seeing that milkshake? I've seen condensation on the head emulsify like that after only a couple of days of sitting. If there are no other signs of failure elsewhere, I'd think its that. You should see some milky clumpy horrors that come ...
