Re: Eric's wife's B6 A4: I'm not getting a charge out of thi

At that mileage these engine tend to blow/ crack head gaskets. Especially if the car had a leak and they mixed coolants. It will start with a low heat symptom (clogged heater core).
I have an AMB engine pulled out of a 03 that had only 68k miles. Was holding on to it for a craigslist find.

Re: Building a Garage

True, every situation is different. I choose to rent because it is CHEAPER either way I put it. My real business needs me to have industrial space and power and my wrenching on cars hobby is benefiting from it.
Making poor decisions based on facts like " renting is giving away money to somebody ...

Re: Building a Garage

I found out that it is cheaper to rent than buy or build. I am leasing a 3000sqf are in an old mill for $500/mo with electricity included. I have room for about 20 cars outside and tons of 3 phase power inside. I did my math and when factoring building materials, labor, permits, fees, taxes, neighbors ...

Firstly, I'd like to know what the rest of the story here is Mushasho, so if you could PM me the details that'd be great. To my knowledge we've never done anything to or asked anything of Loxx, and we've been doing our best to keep the site free and open about cars ...

Re: Chris' 200 20v Revver Project

This has been building up for a long time. While admittedly funny, it (their shenanigans) was definitely done in malevolence, spite, or whatever you want to call it. I guess they know I don't exactly jive with them... I've called them out on a lot of issues in the past and constantly refer people ...

he is either getting rid of drama or riding it!
Anyone is free to do whatever but:
I think this build should finish where it started ,loxx can transplant it over there meanwhile.
Both MG and loxx should grow some balls and keep it simple and about CARS.

Believe me, he's getting rid of drama ...

Wait, what? Someone has said something negative about derracuda?

Re: Frosty's Faux Rally CQ - exhaust vid and rs2 rear instal

Tires are 225/55/17, they're a bit big... i wouldn't recommend going this big as i go have some rubbing issues when turning tightly. but in a straight line and around corners at speed there's no problem.

I have a slight issue with one of the rear tires hitting the front of the fender wall corner ...
